August 2026 — Acclaimed Texas equine artist Mel Auberty will bring selections from her celebrated Year of the Horse exhibition to Santa Fe this month as part of a special pop-up exhibition at FOMA Gallery, taking place August 21–25, 2026.
Year of the Horse: A Celebration of Horses Through Painting, Photography & Mixed Media features the work of Mel Auberty alongside fellow artists Kate Breaky, Yvonne Denman, and Cressandra Thibodeaux. Through painting, photography, and mixed media, the exhibition explores themes of strength, transformation, movement, and the enduring spirit of the horse.
An opening reception will be held at FOMA Gallery on Friday, August 21, from 5–7 p.m., offering guests the opportunity to meet the artists, enjoy refreshments, and experience this dynamic collection.
